There is no word to described our experience! It was so amazing, the owner are awesome. Attended to our need so fast when we have a bit of issues and they were so generous to upgrade us. We can’t thank you enough for our wonderful experience. NTHSSA employees and personnel who need a break from our busy life at work this is the most relaxing place you can check close to home. We loved our stay at Castaways! We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin with a view right on the water. It was a cozy cabin with tons of space for the 4 of us. We rented kayaks the first day and enjoyed some fun on the water. The next morning we rented two quads and spent a few hours quaking around the beach, sand dunes and along the river. She was very helpful and got everything to us so fast. We cannot wait to go back!

Staying here was a highlight of our last trip north. Phenomenal location on the beach. Cabins are very comfortable and well maintained. Service is excellent.

Daryl was a welcoming and excellent host. We rented boats to go on the water, enjoyed the sun and beautiful beach, and had a relaxing and recharging vacation at this hidden gem. The cabin was clean and well equipped and Daryl made sure we had everything we needed. This was a perfect no stress time for us and we hope to be back soon. Bonus points for the beautiful sunsets.

Comfortable, clean and well-appointed cabins backed by super friendly and welcoming customer service. A perfect way to bookend the start and finish of my ski trip along the lake.

This is a great getaway location. It is quiet and secluded with access to a beautiful beach.

We had a comfortable stay at the pet friendly cottage. It was easy to find and to check in/out. This is a great place to stay when visiting Hay River.

Lovely spot on the beach of greater slave lake. Cabin was small but had all we needed. Beautiful place. Bring shampoo and soap. Great shower, gas stove, good bed and all you need for a getaway.

We were in a 3-bedroom cottage. Very clean & spacious, the kitchen is adequately equipped. The washer & dryer were a big bonus. Our host Daryl was very helpful. He helped us to find a place to fix our flat tire while no shop in the area was able to do it for us. Great scenery nearby👍

Our family just stayed here for one week. Really clean location, private and quiet. Kitchen was stocked with basic cookware was able to cook meals for our family. Definitely recommend this location.
