Castaways Wilderness Lodge Rental is the perfect spot to host small group events, have a birthday party or hold team building events. It is a great base location to rest after an afternoon on the water, to stay warm on an aurora hunting excursion or to relax after an exhilarating ATV ride.
In the summer, enjoy the close proximity to the Castaways beach on Great Slave Lake. For boating, paddling, fishing, or lounging, the waters of Great Slave Lake provide a stunning backdrop for your time in the NWT. The property and surrounding area provide perfect space for hiking, birdwatching, biking, and more.
In the winter, our distance from any city lights means you can enjoy an undiminished view of the NWT’s world-famous Northern Lights. The NWT is situated under the phenomena known as the Auroral Oval – the strongest concentration of Northern Lights activity in the world. For nearly 240 nights per year, the Aurora fills our northern skies, and while your days are spent Snow Tubing, Ice Fishing, enjoying a Sherp Tour or Sauna Rental, you’ll spend many memorable nights gazing upwards at the brightest and most active Northern Lights displays in the world. Book a stay at one of Castaways Cottages and make it even better by booking the Wilderness Lodge as your private aurora hunting base.
The wilderness lodge is perfect for birthday parties, team events, retreat events, small group training sessions, crafting circles, seminars, story telling, and more.
The Lodge can accommodate 10-15 adults with tables, chairs, coffee pot, kettle available, and guest Wi-Fi is offered throughout the property.
The lodge is ~384 square feet, and can be arranged to suite your event needs.
